Greg has maintained a diverse career as a pianist, trumpeter and educator in the Baltimore-Washington music community for nearly two decades.
As a pianist, he has performed at the Silver Spring Jazz Festival, East Coast Jazz Festival, Baltimore-Washington Jazz Festival, Jazz in the Garden at the National Gallery of Art, and numerous other venues with artists including Chris Gekker, Chris Vadala, Lena Seikaly, Gregory Thompkins, Darryl Brenzel, Scott Paddock, and others. As a trumpeter, Greg has also been active, performing with the National Wind Ensemble, Washington Brass Quintet, Summer Opera Theatre Company, and as a student at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute.
Greg holds degrees from the University of Maryland, College Park (MM, Jazz Studies-Piano Concentration), Towson University (BS, Psychology), and Shepherd University (BA, Trumpet Performance).
A highly in-demand educator, he also maintains a private teaching studio, working with over 50 piano and trumpet students through Music and Arts (Ellicott City and Laurel), as well as his own private studio.
